History

Modesto Transfer & Storage was founded some 80+ years ago. Originally founded as Jensen's Van & Storage, it was a small enterprise servicing primarily Stanislaus County. As the county grew, so did the Jensen's business and family.

After many years Mr. And Mrs. Jensen's son-in-law, Mike Marshall, purchased the company and renamed it Modesto Transfer & Storage.

In 1999, the Marshalls decided to retire, so driver Gary Smith purchased the company.

20 years later, in 2019, Gary retired and sold the company to his head of operations for all 20 years, Keith Dooley, and the office manager of the last 15 years, Nathaniel Lahman.

With the combined qauality and experience of the new owners, Modesto Transfer and Storage has a renewed future and will continue to provide the highest quality service to it's clients and community.
